Wondrously Polished

I like to paint things on my nails. Funky, unique and cool things. I also do tutorials sometimes!

This blog has become a place for my nail art, but on occasion I enjoy sharing my love of all things related to nature, design, and style.

This week’s Mani Monday features a spooky scene just in time for #Halloween ;) Lindsey of Wondrously Polished created an eerie graveyard nail tutorial just for you Gems! Think you’ll be trying this look for yourself? Tell us in the comments below!

1. Paint your nails with your favorite white polish and let dry completely.

** For the next 4 steps, you will need a surface to mix polish on. I like to use a piece of plastic or an old tupperware lid for this.
2. On your mixing surface, combine a dab of blue polish and some acetone/polish thinner. Use a detail brush to paint horizontal stripes in the top quarter of your nail. Your white base polish should show through slightly.
3. Thin out some purple polish and add a few more horizontal stripes below the blue stripes. Overlap the line between the two colors to create a slight blend.
